Super kitschy vintage find of the week.

I’m not sure why I love Blue Boy/Pink Lady objects, but it may have something to do with the huge paintings of each that my Grandmother had in her living room when I was a kid. Plus, you know, they’re fancy.

Here I present our latest vintage treasure, Mr. Fancy himself. $2.99 @ Goodwill.

It was love at first sight.

Just got back from our local thrift store and snagged a MINT vintage Singer sewing machine. I can’t believe someone gave this baby away. Lucky for us.

My last week consisted of a lot of work, a lot of play and a little bit of recharge time.

Plus I had the divine pleasure of seeing what I am in for at the end of August via Jimmy Fallon. Refused played their first live television performance EVER (?!), and it just made me all the more excited for the show next month. Local Calgary Gem Alert : The Silk Road Spice Merchant.

If you live in Calgary, and you love to cook, you likely already know about The Silk Road Spice Merchant. Just in case you do not, I urge you to give this local piece of awesomeness a visit. They have samples of all their wares and you can spend many an hour in there just sniffing and tasting.
